ScandistreamTV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how copyright owners can report alleged infringement and how we handle such reports, consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market, and equivalent Nordic legislation.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content accessible through this website infringes your copyright, send a written notification to our designated agent containing all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to locate it (exact URL(s));
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Designated Agent
Copyright notices should be sent to:
Copyright Agent — ScandistreamTV
Email: [email protected] (subject line: "DMCA Notice")
We review complete notices promptly, generally within 5 business days.
3. Our Response
Upon receipt of a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the affected user where applicable, and document the notice. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe material you provided was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the same agent containing: identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that removal was erroneous; your name, address and telephone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the competent court in your place of residence (or, for notices under 17 U.S.C. § 512, any judicial district in which we may be found); and your physical or electronic signature.
5. Repeat Infringers
We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
6. Third-Party Content and Trademarks
